Pilar Guzmán has been overseeinging the iconic brand's print publication and digital properties as Editor-in-Chief since August 2013. Just one year into her editorship, she was named Editor-of-the-Year by Advertising Age.
Previously, Pilar served as vice president and editor-in-chief of Martha Stewart Living, where she was responsible for the editorial direction of the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia flagship since March 2011. Under her direction, the publication earned a National Magazine Award for General Excellence in 2013. From 2005 to 2009, Pilar worked for Condé Nast as the founding Editor-in-Chief of Cookie, an award-winning lifestyle magazine targeting young, affluent parents. She has also served as senior editor at Real Simple, as founding editor of One, and as a contributor to The New York Times, I.D., Metropolis, and Wallpaper. Pilar launched her career in journalism writing travel guides to Italy and Vietnam.
